The Remora was a high-band noise-jamming pod developed for French tactical strike aircraft. The pod was cylindrical except for the two ends, which were flattened into narrow vertical openings for the antennas.
The DB 3141 operated against emitters in the 6-10 GHz frequency range (H-I bands); the DB 3163 operated against emitters in the 8-20 GHz range (I-J bands). Within those ranges, Remora could be pre-programmed to jam up to six frequency bands. The superheterodyne receiver...
