The Italian Breda Light Chaff Rocket Launching System (LCRLS) protects small combatants from radar homing missiles by launching 105-mm rockets that create a chaff cloud. The chaff is deployed from banks of six fixed-elevation launch tubes. In each bank, the forward four tubes point 45 degrees off the bow; the after two are angled 45 degrees off the stern.
