The ARAR/ARAX system is a surveillance receiver intended for use in maritime patrol aircraft. This system consists of an antenna system and a frequency-measuring device.
The ARAR-10B is mounted in pods at the tops of the vertical tails in the Breguet BR 1150 Atlantique and British Aerospace Nimrod MR1. These aircraft also carry the associated ARAX-10B frequency-measuring device.
