The ALR-90 is a crystal video-based system designed to detect pulsed radars in the C through J frequency bands.

Intercepted radar emissions are analyzed and those identified as threats are presented on a 3-inch (76-mm) display. The alphanumeric display shows type, angle of arrival and relative lethality of the threats.
