AN/ALR-76

The AN/ALR-76 is a radar warning system that replaced the ALR-47 in the U.S. Navy S-3B Viking anti-submarine aircraft. It is a form fit replacement for the ALR-47 and incorporates frequency extension beyond the ALR-47, and uses VLSI chips that allow for a wide range of applications.

The ALR-76 is also one of the components of the Weapons Systems Improvement Program (WSIP) for the S-3B aircraft and the U.S. Navy EP-3 reconnaissance aircraft.
