The AN/ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System (TJS) consists of several subsystems flown in the EA-6B Prowler and the EF-111A Raven aircraft.

On the EA-6B , the ALQ-99 exciters and jamming transmitters are mounted in five pods, two under each wing and the fifth under the fuselage. Receivers and antennas are fitted in the aircraft's tail cap. The EF-111A carries the pods on a pallet in its weapons bay; this variant is designated ALQ-99E.
