AN/ALQ-156

The AN/ALQ-156 is an aircraft missile-approach warning system (MAW) consisting of a receiver/transmitter unit, a control unit and up to four antennas. It uses a pulse-Doppler radar to detect incoming missiles and automatically triggers appropriate electronic countermeasures (ECM) responses.
