The AN/ALQ-130 was a tactical communications jamming system used to disrupt hostile defense communication links and surface-to-air missile radar operations.
Jamming techniques included broadband or acoustic noise and spot-frequency jamming. The system could be either internally (EA-6B ) or externally mounted. Development began as an ALQ-92 update.
