The AN/ALE-44 is a lightweight chaff dispenser pod used by drones and tactical aircraft. The RR-129 system dispenser can discharge chaff cartridges and/or infrared (IR) flares (MK-46) separately or simultaneously.

The system consists of a control unit and two pods, each having a capacity of 32 rounds.

The pod can be mounted on a wingtip, stores pylon or fuselage.
