The ACS-500 was a communications intelligence (COMINT) system for airborne use that permitted automated intercept and monitoring of tactical radio nets.

A varying number of operator consoles could be fitted to the host aircraft (normally four consoles are fitted). Intercepted traffic could be recorded for later analysis.
