The Longbow system, formerly designated the Airborne Adverse Weather Weapons System (AAWWS), is a millimeter-wave fire control system designed for use on the AH-64 Apache helicopter.
The US$5 billion system provides the Apache with an all-weather, fire-and-forget capability for its anti-tank Hellfire missiles. Longbow consists of the radome, processors and system electronics.
