AN/PRC-132 is a manpacked, skywave radio used by the U.S. Army Special Forces and the U.S. Navy SEALs as an interim system. It operates as either a simplex or a half-duplex radio, and a tuner is used for ground wave communications.

SOHFRAD incorporates light emitting diode (LED)-based panel illumination, compatible with night-vision goggles. It was scheduled to begin to be phased out by the late 1990s by the Joint Advanced Special Operations Radio System (JASORS).
