Reco-NG reconnaissance pod

The Reco-NG is a digital reconnaissance pod fitted with day- and night-capable electro-optical sensors, resident processing power, a solid-state recorder and high-speed data link. The pod enables an aircraft to conduct both high- and medium-altitude strategic reconnaissance and low-altitude tactical reconnaissance missions. The system is also known as the Airborne and Reconnaissance and Observation System (AEROS).
