The SLAR 2000, also designated the Raphael-TH, is an all-weather side-looking radar using synthetic aperture (SAR) and pulse compression to produce high-quality mapping.
The airborne segment of the system is mounted in a pod-carried under combat aircraft. The airborne system can also be mounted in the cargo bay of transport aircraft.
