The MM/APS-705 is a navigation and search radar used for anti-submarine warfare (ASW) mapping, SAR and other maritime missions that can be installed on both helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft.

Antennas for either ventral or dorsal installation are available, with the SH-3D being fitted with a dorsal set.
