Damocles targeting pod

The Damocles is an all-weather, multi-function targeting pod. It features a third-generation staring array detector, mid-wave focal-plane array infrared imager, robust tracking systems, advanced image processing, three-dimensional location and laser spot detection. Laser and high-resolution imagery provide the aircraft with long-range standoff and improved survivability against air defense systems.
