The Blue Vixen radar is a multi-mode pulse-Doppler radar designed for the British RN Sea Harrier fighter reconnaissance strike (FRS) aircraft.
The system is based on Ferranti's Blue Falcon radar, which was developed from 1975 to 1985. In turn, Blue Vixen is very similar to the ECR90, which was the base of Ferranti's system for the European Fighter Aircraft (EFA ), subsequently known as the Eurofighter Typhoon .
