The AN/APG-67 (V) multi-mode radar was developed for the now-cancelled Northrop F-20 Tigershark (formerly F-5G) aircraft, using technology derived from the Modular Survivable Radar (MSR) program. The design was refined and offered as a refit for Northrop F-5A /B and F-5E /F fighters operated by several air forces, achieving impressive weight and volume reductions in the process.
