The LGM-35A Sentinel, formerly known as the Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD), is an intercontinental ballistic missile system designed to replace the LGM-30 Minuteman III missile. The Sentinel is scheduled to begin phasing into service in 2027.

According to the U.S. Air Force, the Sentinel will be a fully integrated launch, flight and infrastructure system with modern command-and-control features.
