The Dongfeng-17 (DF-17) is a Chinese medium-range ballistic missile designed to carry the DF-ZF hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV). The missile is also known by its NATO designation, CH-SS-22. It is primarily used by the People’s Liberation Army Rocket Force (PLARF).

The DF-17 was developed by China’s 10th Research Institute.
