The Lightweight Mobile Artillery System (LIMAWS(R)) was a high mobility, lightweight launcher for firing Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS ) ammunition. While it was largely a British program, Italy and the U.S. contributed to its development as well. The system had a loader launcher mechanism (LLM) and a prime mover vehicle (PMV).
