The 127-mm Valkiri MRL system consists of a 24-round launching unit mounted on a Unimog 4 x 4 truck. The launcher has three rows of eight rockets and is fitted with a canopy railing to camouflage the vehicle when traveling.

Firing is executed by either a panel within the truck cab or by a plug-in cable connected to a remote firing unit. When firing, two stabilizers are lowered at the rear of the vehicle.
