The Non-Line-of-Sight Launch System (NLOS-LS) was a missile launcher being developed for the U.S. Army as part of the since-cancelled Future Combat System (FCS) (see separate record). It was originally known as NetFires.
In May 2010, the Pentagon approved an Army recommendation to cancel the NLOS-LS precision-attack missile program. The description below generally refers to the pre-cancellation program.
