Katyusha rocket
The Katyusha rocket is not just one rocket, but the name for a wide range of different artillery weapons. (There are many published accounts, nevertheless, that give an otherwise misleading impression.) Many modern Katyusha rockets are often mounted on Japanese-made Isuzo trucks. The Fajr-3 rockets (one variation of the new Katyushas) were built by Iran's air force industry, and have a 28-mile range. The word "Fajr" means "Dawn" in Arabic.
