The CB-500-K-2 used a cut-down version of the dispenser used with the CB-500-K, and deployed the more powerful PM-2 bomblet. The system is no longer in service.
The dispenser was canister-shaped with an ogival nose and four fins that flipped out to deploy after launch. The nose cone contained an electronic variable-setting fuze.
