Developed from the CB-250-K cluster bomb, the CB-500-K was an even larger dispenser for deploying the PM-1 bomblet. It is no longer in service.
The CB-500-K dispenser was canister-shaped with an ogival nose and four fins that flipped out to deploy after launch. The nose cone contained an electronic variable-setting fuze.
