A loitering, anti-radar missile similar in appearance to the air-launched cruise missile (ALCM ), the AGM-136 Tacit Rainbow was first publicly detailed in early 1987. The Army planned to use its multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) vehicles to deliver a ground-launched variant.
