Meteor BVRAAM

The Meteor is a beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile (BVRAAM) designed and developed for use specifically on the three main European fighters: Eurofighter Typhoon, Dassault Rafale and Saab Gripen. It may also be integrated with the F-35 Lightning II.

The Meteor utilizes the Alenia Marconi Systems active radar seeker, drawn from the Aster and MICA missile programs, allowing the missile to operate 24 hours a day, in all weather and dense electronic countermeasures.
