The Grom is a portable air defense system based on the Russian Igla (SA-16 Gimlet). It can be shoulder-fired or installed on a vehicle or larger weapon turret. Radar fire-control systems may also be integrated. The manufacturer claims it is superior to the Igla in several respects, including the carriage of a heavier warhead.
