The Valmara-69 is a cylindrical anti-personnel mine produced in Italy and widely exported. The top of the squat, canister-shaped main container has a small dome with five fuze-prongs.
On activation, the mine leaps almost one meter into the air, exploding into thousands of fragments. The mine can be activated by trip-wire or direct pressure.
