The pocket-sized Throwbot, developed and produced by ReconRobotics, was designed to provide short-range remote eyes and ears for urban combat. Once deployed it can transmit real-time video and audio to the Operator Control Unit II (OCU II) to help soldiers locate and identify subjects, confirm the presence of hostages and reveal the layout of a room.
