The Tandem assault crossing system (TACS) is an Israeli armored vehicle-launched bridge (AVLB) system featuring two bridges. The bridges are identical, symmetrical and interchangeable, according to the manufacturer, Israel Military Industries. The launcher can be mounted on M48 or M60 tank chassis.

Each bridge spans 36 ft (11 m), with a roadway width of 14 ft (4.26 m). The bridges meet military load classification (MLC) 70+, capable of carrying main battle tanks with mine rollers....
