The International 7000-MV is designed for a variety of combat-support missions, including carrying supplies and personnel. The truck is designed for off-road missions and can be easily up-armored. Weapon systems can also be fitted.

The truck is a modular platform. It can be equipped with a 4 x 2, 4 x 4, 6 x 4 or 6 x 6 powertrain and a MaxxForce 8.7D, 9.3D or 12.4D engine. The vehicle is fitted with a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission.
