The BREM-1, or Bronironannaya Remonytno-evakuatssionnaya-1, is an armored recovery and repair vehicle based on the T-72B tank chassis and engine.

At the front of the hull on the left side, the BREM-1 has a hydraulic crane. It also has a main winch with a 25-ton capacity that can be increased to four times that weight.

The recovery and repair vehicle also includes a complete package of towing equipment as well as a range of tools and recovery equipment.
