The AV4 is a light-armored vehicle that can be tailored to perform a variety of roles. It is the first armored fighting vehicle to be designed and built in Malaysia.
The vehicle is very similar to the Belgian Sabiex International Iguana vehicle. It was designed specifically to meet the requirements of the Malaysian military.
