The German Spaehpanzer Luchs (Lynx) 8 x 8 armored reconnaissance vehicle (ARV) was well-armored and quiet, capable of traveling on both land and in water. It is no longer in service.
The large, beamy hull had four suspension points on the hull fitted with bogies that equalized two wheel stations each. The front and rear bogies were separated by sponsons on each hull side. The entry door was in the left sponson.
