ERC 90/1 Sagaie 1 (6 x 6) armored car

The ERC (Engin de Reconnaissance Cannon) wheeled-vehicle family was originally developed by Panhard in the mid-1970s for export sales.

The basic vehicle is a medium-sized 6 x 6 armored car with a 90-mm turret. It handles the same duties as Panhard's earlier 4 x 4 AML armored car series, but is larger and more capable of negotiating rough terrain. The 90-mm gun is a new design with a 52-caliber barrel and higher muzzle velocity.
