Cheetah mine-protected vehicle

The Cheetah became the latest member of Force Protection's family of mine-protected vehicles, which includes the Cougar and Buffalo (see separate records for details). It is designed for reconnaissance, command-and-control and urban operations. (Force Protection has since been sold.)

The Cheetah has state-of-the-art ballistic and blast-protection as well as good mobility. The vehicle is air-transportable via C-130, which can carry up to two Cheetahs.
