The ACMAT (Ateliers de Construction Mecanique de l'Atlantique) VSC 4 x 4 wheeled armored personnel carrier (APC) was developed directly from the Saharan truck that now serves in over 36 countries as general cargo carrier and troop vehicle. In place of the conventional truck body, ACMAT has created a more angular design with armored shutters over the two-part windshield and drop-down sides along the rear troop compartment.
