The Tactical Infantry Transport and Utility System (TITUS) mine-resistant, ambush-protected (MRAP) vehicle was developed by French defense firm Nexter based on a chassis from Czech company Tatra. It was developed as a private venture primarily for export customers.
The vehicle has a modular design. The rear can accommodate interchangeable mission modules, such as cargo or special equipment, in place of a troop compartment.
