The Timoney is a 4 x 4 armored personnel carrier (APC) formerly in service with the Irish army. A slightly different version was license-built in Belgium as the BDX (see separate database record).
The Timoney has a highly sloped glacis and the driver sits in the center front portion of the hull. It has one windscreen to the front and two to his side. The engine compartment is to the immediate rear of the driver.
