The Maverick is an armored vehicle designed for internal security operations. Potential missions include riot control, command-and-control, surveillance, medical evacuation and bomb disposal.
The Maverick is in the same class as the BAE Systems RG-12. It carries two crewmembers and 10 troops. The 4 x 4 vehicle has a double-skin monocoque hull structure designed to protect against 7.62-mm and 12.7-mm armor-piercing incendiary rounds (NATO Standard Agreement (STANAG) 4569 Level 3).
