The Common Armored Vehicle System (CAVS) is a 6 x 6 armored personnel carrier developed by Patria to meet a joint requirement from the Finnish and Latvian armed forces. In Finland, the CAVS will allow the older XA-180M 6 x 6 armored vehicle to be reallocated to its Territorial Forces. Estonia signed a technical agreement related to the CAVS but has since suspended participation in the project.
