The Boxer (8 x 8) armored utility vehicle started as a joint project involving Britain, Germany and the Netherlands (Britain withdrew from the project in 2003, but decided to rejoin in 2018). The project is aimed at producing a family of next-generation armored multirole utility vehicles.
