The Amphibious Combat Vehicle is a U.S. Marine Corps program to develop a replacement for its AAV7 family of amphibious assault vehicles. A variant of the Iveco SuperAV offered by BAE Systems was selected in June 2018. The competition was initially divided into multiple phases, with the first covering a baseline infantry carrier vehicle, with recovery and command variants to be developed subsequently. In 2018, the Marine Corps chose to combine the phases into a single program.
