The Rapidfire is a mobile, multirole air defense system based on the 40-mm Cased Telescoped Cannon (CTC), which has been developed by CTA International in France, a joint venture between BAE Systems and Nexter. The system can be used to support troops on the move or for critical infrastructure/point defense missions.
