The Porcupine (or Porcospino) counter-rocket and mortar (C-RAM) system was developed by Oto Melara for an Italian army requirement. It did not advance beyond the prototype phase. The program aimed to produce a short-range low-cost system optimized for land warfare. It could also be integrated with the larger 76-mm multirole weapons system (MWS) as part of a two-tier system.
