The British 3.7-in (94-mm) mountain howitzer was originally developed as a pack howitzer for the mountain troops of the Indian army. The gun was also supplied to Nepal, where it is still in service in small numbers.
The gun has a stubby tube fitted into a thick breech section. The recoil mechanism is located below the barrel.
