The Finnish-built 155-mm M-74 towed gun-howitzer was apparently a development of the earlier M-68. Its layout resembled the smaller-bore 122-mm M-60 field gun and was only about 12 percent heavier. The howitzer fired a projectile that was 75 percent heavier to a similar range. Vammas claimed that the gun could be emplaced and displaced by two crewmembers.
