The Caesar (Camion Equipe d'un Systeme d'Artillerie) is a 155-mm self-propelled truck-mounted artillery system designed for versatility, mobility and ease of operations. In 2002, France ordered five demonstration systems in advance of a full-production order. They were received the following year.
